Soft tissue release (stretching)

Soft Tissue Release (STR) is extremely versatile and particularly helpful for overuse injuries that affect tendons and muscles. It assists with releasing scar tissue and adhesions, helping to regain elasticity.

This technique also encourages communication with the nervous system, which can be helpful as the surrounding muscle fibres often become overworked.

STR works by applying strong, focused pressure to the area. It can be applied passively with the therapist moving the joint, or actively where the client moves the joint.

STR will form part of Clinical/Remedial & Soft Tissue Therapy Treatment.
